Roman religion is full of genuine scholarly disagreement, and we are a small editorial team working from translated ancient texts — mistakes are possible. Here's how we handle them.

How to report an issue

Use the Contact form and choose "Correction request," or email [email protected] directly. Please include the page URL and, if possible, the source you believe supports the correction.

What happens next

1. We review the report against the ancient source and, where relevant, secondary scholarship.
2. If the correction is confirmed, we update the page and note the change below.
3. If it's a genuine scholarly disagreement rather than an error, we aim to reflect that disagreement in the text instead of just picking a side.

We aim to acknowledge correction requests within a few business days.
